I weep for thee, wife, for having to love me;
Thou hast avowed the gods to award me thy heart.
Thy ungrateful man whom thy heart has shattered.
Make haste my love; thy romance is not forever,
For the wind vigor void in thy conquering amity.
My heart is yet but a single being,
Divided, and it shall perish within my chest;
To be shared in two, the impossible, yet overwhelming,
Am I an honorable man who deserves love and tenderness?
Or a foul man that is yet to disgrace love?
Banish away from my life, mistress of betrayal,
The love that thou chase is not mine honor;
But a plague to the evergreen romance of my amity.
Alas Mistress of despair and rapture of my romance!
Thy wish has indeed come to its revelation.
